Recipe: Walden's Triple Dog Dare Ya

We guarantee this holiday cocktail from Katie MacLachlan, co-owner of Walden, will taste better than a frozen flagpole. We dare you to try it.


1 ½ ounces tequila (Cazadores)

¾ ounce mezcal (Montelobos)

1 ounce lime juice

¾ ounce simple syrup

½ ounce pear juice


Rim a glass with a blend of cinnamon, salt and sugar, and fill with ice. Add all ingredients to a cocktail tin and shake. Strain into the glass, and garnish with a lime wheel or dehydrated pear slice.
