Today, the Bamford Wellness Spa opens its doors to visitors and locals alike, and we got an exclusive first look at the tranquil setting and learned more about the treatments and products now available. Darcie DeBartelo, the director of spa and retail, shared a little background, inspiration behind the design, her favorite treatment and more exclusively with us.

Bamford spas and products, originally created by Carole Bamford in the English countryside, are located in elite cities and hotels worldwide. They feature individually crafted treatments using her specially formulated body and skincare products that are made from natural and organic ingredients, all certified to the highest standard.

“[Our] spa design is inspired by Ruby Falls, an extraordinary natural Tennessee landmark,” says Darcie. “Light stone, decorative plaster and organic flagstone flooring evoke the site’s subterranean rock formations and waterfalls. Guests are welcomed into the calming, cave-like corridor with a water feature.” The Rest & Relaxation Lounge gives guests a serene space pre- and post-treatment, whether it be the private terrace with city views or indoor lounges with floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains to provide privacy. There are also healthy snacks, infused water and a beverage menu on request.

The six treatment rooms include a couples room, and the treatment menu includes massage, facial and day packages. Among them, Darcie recommends the Bamford Signature Treatment. “[It is] a customized treatment awakening the muscles and energy channels in the body using shiatsu, meridian and Swedish movements.” Guests can add on enhancements, such as a microcurrent lift and an infrared pulsed electromagnetic therapy mat, are available. Darcie’s favorite add-ons are Knesko gold and diamond collagen masks that address specific issues and areas.

In today’s world, we all need to look after our well-being and take the time to slow our minds, relax and unwind. The new Bamford Wellness Spa provides a tranquil surrounding to do exactly that.
