When stepping inside 503 Bloomhouse, a consignment store in 12South, your first thought might be something like this: Are there actually enough big-budget high-fashion people in Nashville to fill a resale boutique with pristine second-hand Hermès, Pucci and Celine?
Then, quick on the heels of that demographic query, comes this question: Will those gorgeous Gucci horsebit loafers fit me? Or those double-G espadrilles? Or that vintage Pucci silk frock?
The tidy, well-lighted attic of a cottage just off 12th Avenue South is the sartorial enterprise of sisters Kristie and Alexa Dunnigan from Montana, who share their mother’s love of creativity and clothing and always hoped to open a mother-daughter venture. When their mom died in 2021, the dream shifted into a sisterly project to honor her memory. 503 Bloomhouse takes its name from their mother’s birthday, which was the date they signed for their first boutique.
After debuting in 2023, just off Franklin’s main square, Kristie and Alexa relocated to Main Street in December 2025. Meanwhile, in August 2025, they planted a flag in 12South, in a cottage behind Love Shack Fancy.
To access the 12South location, step inside Flea Style boutique and wind your way upstairs, past framed vintage Hermès scarves, to 503 Bloomhouse’s ever-updating gallery of luxury clothing and accessories.
On the day we arrived, an elaborately embroidered and embellished Gucci handbag sat among Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Prada and more. Tags list original prices alongside consignment sale prices, with discounts often half off the original.
To answer the initial question, while there are indeed enough consigning clothes horses in Middle Tennessee to keep shelves fresh and full, Kristie and Alexa also receive shipments from out of state. They update inventory on their active Instagram, unveiling arrivals at both stores with descriptions animated by their combined experiences in travel, fashion and vintage clothing sales. Â
To consign, fill out an inquiry at 503Bloomhouse.com. When a wardrobe is a fit, Kristie and Alexa will schedule an appointment. 503Bloomhouse keeps 30 to 50 percent of the resale price, leaving the owner with 70 to 50 percent.
