After a year of renovation, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery has reopened its space at Marathon Village. Design elements include: artistic use of glass, steele and light in the industrial setting. Raindrop chandeliers bookend the restaurant which offers a refined twist on gourmet distillery-inspired cuisine. Entrées include: croque madame, wild mushroom tartine, “The Schnitzel” and more. A pristine glass wall behind the bar separates guests from the stills of elixir housed just a few feet away. And living walls and greenery are breadcrumbed throughout the space giving the feel of a sun porch on a summer’s afternoon.

The distillery offers guests a behind the scenes peek at the production process including education on distillation and barrel aging as well as a four-product tasting. The space was designed with visitors and locals in mind. The effervescent light and comfortable seating areas speak to wiling away and afternoon with friends enjoying excellent whiskey. For larger gatherings, Nelson’s has added expansive private event space for groups of 30 to 200. The  Whiskey Garden, Coopers Club, Oak Room and Rickhouse Room are available for private bookings and ideal for hosting mixers, seated dinners, corporate events, weddings and more.

To commemorate the reopening, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery will release Nelson’s Green Brier Cask Strength Tennessee Whiskey. This limited, one-time release of the original recipe is bottled at 121.4 proof. The distillery-exclusive bottle offers a robust flavor profile full of toffee, apricot, baked cinnamon apples, walnut and lemon cherry tart and will be available beginning August 16. "We are thrilled to unveil the transformed space, which truly showcases the rich history and essence of the Nelson’s Green Brier brand," said Andy Nelson, co-founder of Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery. "Guests can now immerse themselves in our captivating story and savor our exceptional whiskey as we had always envisioned."
