Nashville Bakery Christie Cookie Co. launched its fan-favorite holiday tradition, the Santa’s Favorite Cookie Contest, last week, as well as the return to local catering in Middle Tennessee.

Christie Cookie Co. was founded in Nashville in 1983. In just 40 years, the store has become a national staple of Southern warmth. Earlier this year, the Tennessee Titans named Christie Cookie Co. the team’s official cookie provider, prompting the bakery to return to its hometown.

Local orders will be fulfilled from Hunters Station in East Nashville and will be available for pickup on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“We are so excited to bring back our local catering services just in time for the holidays,” says. Coco Kyriopoulos, director of Rich Products, Christie Cookie Co.’s parent company. “The return of catering pairs perfectly with our annual Santa’s Favorite Cookie Contest, which brings joy to kids and families each year.

The winning cookie will be announced on Nov. 24 and will be in production for December. The top young baker will also receive recognition on Christie Cookie Co.’s social media, as well as custom tins and a cookie care package.

Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. Christie Cookie Co. has maintained a charity partnership with the hospital for over a decade, showcasing patient designs on two branded tins available year-round for online purchase.

“We’re especially proud to once again support Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, an organization that means so much to our community,” says Coco.
