The Symphony Ball Patron Party Opens on a High Note

One of the most anticipated opening celebrations of the year is the Symphony Ball Patron Party. The event brings together a collection of the Nashville Symphony’s top supporters for an exclusive evening before the much-awaited Symphony Ball. This year was no different. As guests arrived at The Hermitage Hotel, they met with co-chairs Kayla Counts and Suann Davis, who greeted them with a choir of carolers to elevate the holiday spirit. Servers passed Champagne and hors d’oeuvres throughout the reception as guests mingled.

As the dinner bell began to chime, guests made their way into the Grand Ballroom — beautifully decorated by the talented Bruce Pittman. Gold linens and chargers dressed the tables, alongside beautiful red centerpieces. Soft candlelight added a glow to the evening, creating a warm spirit that flowed through the room. Once guests were seated, Alan Valentine — president and CEO of the Nashville Symphony — took to the front of the room for a brief welcome. He thanked guests for their continued support of the symphony and reiterated that their contributions help bring more art to the community. With programs like the impactful Accelerando initiative, the symphony helps budding artists realize their dreams of secondary education and pursue careers in music that otherwise might not be available.

As the evening progressed, guests eagerly talked about the upcoming Symphony Ball and this year’s Harmony Award winner, Kix Brooks.
