NSIDER: Leiper's Creek Gallery "Soulful Juxtaposition"

Originally a form of artistic rebellion, Impressionists like Monet, Renoir, Degas and more were known for their bare impressions of form and stunning use of natural light to define the moment they captured on their canvas. Today, Master Artist Roger Dale Brown builds upon the Impressionist techniques while depicting rural and maritime scenes. For those that experienced the scenes depicted in the paintings in real life, sensory memories often bubble to the surface while gazing at the landscapes or still-life creations.

On October 21, from 6—9 p.m., Roger will join Leiper’s Creek Gallery owner Lisa Fox in “Soulful Juxtaposition.” The celebration of art will feature both Roger and Lisa’s work. Lisa’s own abstract paintings reside beautifully beside Roger’s Impressionist works as they are both inspired by nature and bring harmony to the canvas. Leiper’s Creek Gallery is located in the historic village of Leiper’s Fork and is known as "part small museum" and "part art gallery." As with any event at Lisa’s gallery “Soulful Juxtaposition” will — in addition to stunning art — feature music, food and drinks. This event is free and open to the public.
