A future free from brain disease — that is the vision of the American Brain Foundation. The World Health Organization reports that “one in three people is affected by neurological conditions worldwide.” Founded in 1992, the ABF works to eradicate brain disease by connecting donors with researchers who use a whole-brain approach to fight it.

On Sept. 13, the American Brain Foundation will host A Night of Brilliance and Breakthroughs at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The black-tie evening will celebrate major accomplishments in brain disease research, raise crucial funds to end the disease and will honor trailblazing actress Selma Blair, mental health advocate and actor Sean Astin, and the National Football League.

"Bringing the Gala to Nashville for the first time is especially meaningful because the city has become a global leader in healthcare, with a strong culture of innovation and a community of visionaries committed to improving lives,” said Adam Sansiveri, event co-chair & AllianceBernstein regional senior managing director who is co-chairing the event with his brother Sean. “It is the perfect home for this new era in brain health."
