When news broke that Oscar de la Renta would headline the 21st Symphony Fashion Show, buzz flooded Nashville's social scene. To amp up the excitement, the Nashville Symphony has announced that country superstar Lainey Wilson will perform.
“With Oscar de la Renta returning to the Symphony Fashion Show after 14 years, we knew we needed an equally iconic entertainer,” says Nashville Symphony president and CEO Alan Valentine in a press release. “Lainey Wilson is one of the most significant and influential women in country music today, and we could not imagine a better musical partner for Oscar de la Renta’s runway magic.”
Wilson, a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, is riding the high of her acclaimed album Whirlwind and anticipating upcoming headline shows across Australia and New Zealand. But the singer says Symphony Fashion Show will be particularly special.
“The Nashville Symphony is such a meaningful part of the city’s identity and its artistic community,” says Wilson in a press release. “Getting to support them while also partnering with Oscar de la Renta is pretty exciting.”
To add to the star-studded lineup, WKRN News 2 chief meteorologist, Emmy nominee and local favorite Danielle Breezy will serve as emcee. “It is a great honor to have Danielle Breezy emcee the evening,” says co-chairs Marci Houff and Laura Kimbrell in a press release. “She’s spirited and tons of fun, and we can’t think of a better fashion show host.”
Presented by Gus Mayer, this year's Symphony Fashion Show will feature Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2026 runway collection on Tuesday, April 28, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
