Sean Brock has been hard at work taking Nashville’s culinary scene to new heights. Within the last six months, he has opened two new incredible and vastly different concepts: The Continental and Audrey. And in the latter part of spring of this year, he’ll be opening June, a modern concept in the space above Audrey that leans heavily on a tasting menu format and that explores what is possible with ingredients indigenous to the South.
In anticipation of this new venture, Sean is hosting The Nashville Sessions, a five-part “celebration of culinary collaboration and creativity.” The series features multicourse tasting menus from some of the best chefs from around the country and offers a glimpse into what June will offer when it opens.
The fabulous lineup includes Daniel Patterson of San Francisco’s Coi (March 5); Dominique Crenn of San Francisco’s Atelier Crenn (March 19th); Shola Olunloyo of Philadelphia’s Studio Kitchen (March 26th); Wylie Dufresne of Manhattan’s wd~50 (April 9); and John Shields of Chicago’s Smyth and The Loyalist (May 7).
With only 32 seats available for each dinner, it will be a bit of a race to get a reservation once they’re available. Tickets, which are $385 per person with an optional beverage pairing for $200 (sans tax and gratuity), are available now for the Daniel Patterson dinner, and reservations for the others will go on sale one month before the event.
