As a nonprofit that promotes body positivity and self-esteem while seeking inclusion for adults of all ages, sizes and physical abilities within the fashion industry, Fashion Is for Every Body’s annual runway show reflects the diversity of life in a beautiful parade of adaptable clothes from Nashville designers and boutiques. The event is back for 2021, and it takes place Saturday, Sept. 11 at Studio 615.

Professional models will be joined on the runway with BIPOC, AAPI, LGBTQ, non-binary, cerebral palsy, paraplegic, spina bifida, scoliosis, limb-different, POTS and Asperger’s individuals. All will be wearing pieces by local designers Any Old Iron, Brakefield and Rank & Sugar; items from size-inclusive boutique This Is the Finale; and accessories from adaptive clothing marketplace Patti + Ricky.

Attendees can expect light bites from Actual Food Nashville and beverages from Heineken, Corsair Distillery and Ilegal Mezcal, plus they can take home favorites from pop-up shops stocked with the participating designers’ goods and enjoy an after-party featuring DJ Killa Chris. Tickets — including livestream access — and more information are available at fashionisforeverybody.com.
