After a two-year hiatus, the Swan Ball is returning to Swan Lawn on June 4, and Cheekwood supporters couldn’t be more excited. The 2022 co-chairs, Mary Catherine McClellan and Elizabeth McDonald, gathered the Swan Ball committee at the home of Felice and Bill Oldacre to reveal what’s in store for this year’s white-tie gala. The co-chairs were thrilled to announce that Vock and Vintage will be the featured jeweler, and Ken Fulk will be designing the gala. Ken, who looked dapper as ever in a black and white striped suit, is a world-renowned interior designer and event planner, who has been recognized by Architectural Digest’s AD 100, Elle Decor’s A-List and was nominated for a James Beard Award for restaurant design. Ken sabered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and promised that Swan Ball would be a night full of fun and surprises. The final announcement was the biggest: The headliner for the 2022 Swan Ball will be three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Darius Rucker.
