Sweet Creations

If you want pie from Sweet Creations in Germantown, you’ll have to call 615-255-5519 or stop by their Jefferson Street shop, as online orders aren’t an option. But it’s worth the effort, because the beloved pie shop serves up some of the best in town. (In the Nashville Scene’s 2019 pumpkin pie taste test, Sweet Creations was praised for tasting the most homebaked.) Their fudge pie is not to be missed, either.

Vegans don’t have to go without dessert, thanks to Yellow & Lavender. Their Thanksgiving options include a classic pecan pie, a chocolate bourbon chess pie topped with smoked salt, a butter pie topped with shortbread cookie crumble and The OG Pie Cake, “a 6-inch pecan pie sandwiched between two 6-inch pumpkin pie sponge cakes and tons of buttercream.” Order online at yellowandlavender.com for pickup at their one-year anniversary party at Otto’s on Nov. 21.
