On the Circuit: Country Music Hall of Fame Honor Society

Despite looming ominous weather, the clouds parted for a picture-perfect evening celebrating the Honor Society of Country Music Hall of Fame. Guests were greeted with City Winery’s Centennial Chardonnay and Reserve Merlot as they strolled into Ken and Gloria Levitan’s architectural outdoor haven. Cocktail tables draped in emerald linens mirrored the luscious green hillside surrounding this beautiful home. Guests milled around the open air enclaves surrounding a dazzling infinity pool. Most impressive was Levitan's curation of art and decor. Each room told a story of their passions and travels.

The Country Music Hall of Fame showed their support for their Honor Society members with this enchanting evening. The Honor Society offers multiple levels of membership and access to private events, such as this one. Every craving was accounted for thanks to the Country Music Hall of Fame catering team. A tremendous charcuterie board spanned the entire dining room table and servers circulated with delicious hors d'oeuvres. Guests were elated to walk into an adjoining room to find a dessert table worth drooling over. An impressive display of artisanal bonbons, chocolate eclairs, mini chocolate ganache cakes and blueberry limoncello tiramisu shooters. Admittedly, we visited this room multiple times throughout the night.

Back on the patio, cocktails and conversation were in full swing. Just as the stars were rising, guests were introduced to one of country music’s rising stars, Charley Crockett. The Honor Society was lucky to experience an intimate performance by Crockett. His music is best described as Gulf country, an ode to his Texan roots. The Country Music Hall of Fame is not just about honoring the past, but they strive to feature the present country voices, such as Crockett’s.

The melody of his music paired nicely with the serenity of the space. It was the quintessential Nashville night — a tapestry woven of stunning scenery, good music and a passion filled community.
