Next month, The 404 Kitchen is celebrating our state’s signature spirit with the Tennessee Whiskey Dinner.

Executive chef Matt Bolus, along with his culinary team, has prepared an exquisite four-course dinner of cornbread panzanella; shrimp celery almond salad; peach and pork bolognese with yellow tomato; and Jack Daniel’s and apple sticky sorghum pudding. The meal will include seasonal passed hors d’œuvres — compressed watermelon and tomato; pimento crab salad served with sailor crackers; and buttermilk country ham biscuits with whiskey jam — and will be paired with six distinct Tennessee whiskeys.

The 404 Kitchen prides itself on having the largest whiskey collection in Nashville, which includes a range of private label and exclusive single barrel whiskeys.

Guests will also enjoy two specialty cocktails and six 1/2-ounce pours from their collection, including Jack Daniel’s 404 Single Barrel Select; Davidson Reserve Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey, 404 Select; Belle Meade  sour mash straight bourbon; Old Dominick Distillery’s Huling Station straight bourbon whiskey; Standard Proof Whiskey Co.’s straight rye aged five years; and Nashville Barrel Co.’s small batch rye.

Tickets for the dinner, which takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, are $95 per person, plus tax and gratuity. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the404nashville.com.
