Nashville Design Week (NDW) announced the calendar of events for its fourth annual festival at a launch party held at the Dive Motel. The nonprofit’s first in-person event since its 2019 run included a number of industry professionals and design enthusiasts. This year’s festival will run from November 1-5, 2021, and consist of a mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid events.
“Nashville Design Week 2021 will honor the idea of transition, marking the middle ground between a trying year and reinvigoration, inviting attendees to imagine what will come next and how we’ll design together,” said Kate O’Neil, NDW co-founder and director of partnerships. Designers across several practices, from architecture and interiors to graphic, industrial and fashion design, will engage attendees in workshops, lectures, panels and tours.
An opening party and exhibition will be held at the 21c Museum Hotel, and the week closes with a party at Monday Night Brewing’s Boiler Room in the new Neuhoff development. Registration is required to attend all events, and all in-person attendees must present either proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test dated within 72 hours of the event.
Founded in 2018, Nashville Design Week, an all-volunteer organization, offers interdisciplinary programs and events to engage designers and design enthusiasts alike; promote idea sharing, engage and educate the public; and strengthen Nashville’s design culture and impact.
