Pardon me for the shameless institutional promotion, but we’ve got a totally fun event, Cocktails and Couture, coming up Saturday night, August 7 at the Frist Center.
The Golden Age of Couture exhibition has been such fun this summer! Hundreds upon hundreds of people are flocking into the galleries every day: women who grew up in the 40s and 50s; women who sewed from Vogue patterns; mothers and daughters; girlfriend weekenders; designers from around the region; aspiring designers and models. It’s been amazing. People are coming from all over the country.

I have never blogged. I do talk, however, I’m a fair speller, have written lots of letters and many more emails. I guess blogging is what writing letters used to be. I have several friends who blog, and it seems to me that blogging is just writing one big letter to the world. Am I right? In any case, this is going to be fun and quite an adventure.
Oh, my. Now, what to include?
