Best Happy Hour in Nashville?

Posted by Mandi Coleman (06.20.08, 5:07 PM)

I know that like me, you are wondering where to go after a hard week's work to meet up with friends...and not spend $12 on a Martini. Save that for date night, or even later that same night for that matter! But right after I leave the office the last thing I want to do is go to the new posh place and spend that day's salary just to get going.

I realized this earlier today when speaking with the group I'll be meeting up with this evening. Where's a girl to go on her first stop that isn't an actual bar. After all, bars are fun only when crowded with other like-minded people. No one wants to walk into a sparse bar that smells like last night's smoke.

Needless to say, I did some research and discovered that while Nashville has many great happy hour specials during the weekdays, only a few contenders are brave enough to offer something up on a Friday night. And there isn't a local list anywhere to be found online letting the masses know about it.

Rather than get stuck at a bar before the majority arrives, or risk going to the great restaurants but not at a great time, I wanted to let you know that T's Tuscan Grill in Hillsboro Village, formerly the Trace, has the best Happy Hour around for a Friday. I plan on finding out where the other spots are as well, and hopefully advertising for them a bit!

Sperry`s has a really good Happy Hour..great prices and what a nice way to beat the heat in a place that is dark and cool!

Mambu has the best martinis in town. The cozy bar and funky ambiance make for he perfect after-work crocktail. No need for a happy hour discount, they are quite affordable at regular price.
