Easter Best

Posted by Mandi Coleman (03.24.08, 8:30 PM)

Remember when you were little and each year your mom bought you a pretty little pastel dress with a huge bow on the back? Well, I do anyway. I had the saddle shoes, the curls in my hair, and the cute little tights. And I loved every minute of it! I almost wish it was acceptable now to wear that...but I have a feeling I would be laughed right back into my condo. Not only that, but I definatley wouldn't be worthy to write this blog for NFocus!

I have to say that although I may fleetingly wish that I could wear a puffy dress on Easter Sunday, I witnessed a man yesterday that actually acted on his wishes. I say man because he honestly was around 21 or 22. He was with his family at church, and I learned that he had went to the mall Saturday with his mother so that she could purchase an Easter outfit for him.

Blue seersucker pants, white button down, and matching belt and bow tie. Pink. I kid you not. It was the funniest thing I had ever witnessed as I saw him; the Easter Bunny personified. But, good for him for wearing exactly what his heart desired! It takes courage, and a strong sense of self, to pull something like that off.

I love seeing all the little ones dressed up in those cute little dresses. It is just so sweet and don't they just think they are something...They literally just priss around with a big smile that says "Look how cute I am"...haha Gotta love that!

Can you imagine what he must be like to date? Obviously a complete momma's boy, and not someone who wants to buy themselves what they want
