I read the comments that people write to me on the blog. So, I decided to take someone up on their idea of looking hard to find the great local stores that Nashville has to offer. I did just that, and found Monkee's. It's in the Green Hills Hill Center...

I read the comments that people write to me on the blog. So, I decided to take someone up on their idea of looking hard to find the great local stores that Nashville has to offer. I did just that, and found Monkee's. It's in the Green Hills Hill Center that I've been to a dozen times or more just this month. It was my first venture into this particular store though; I guess I had overlooked it previously thinking that by the name it must be a children's store. What I found made me want to jump for joy...in a new pair of their wonderful shoes!

They carry some great labels, and have other things for the not-so-shoe obsessed. Adorning the small boutique were custom charm bracelets, designer shades, and a few really great bags that happened to be reasonably priced. I honestly tried on almost every pair of shoes and I can say with a certainty that come payday, my check will be seeing the cash register at Monkee's. My closet will be overflowing with boxes, as well!
